Vision & Concept

This document describes our vision and concept for an integrated internet based multimedia solution for the automotive industry. At the bottom of this document you can find hints on how to use the explorer (left hand side) and the collection browser (bottom).

MINT (Multimedia Information, Negotiation and Transaction) represents a revolutionary approach to automotive sales and customer engagement. This framework integrates multimedia presentation, product configuration, and sales support into a cohesive platform that bridges the gap between manufacturers, dealerships, and customers.

Our Vision

We envision a future where automotive sales transcend the physical limitations of showrooms, creating immersive digital experiences that engage customers wherever they are. MINT will transform how vehicles are presented, configured, and sold, while seamlessly integrating with existing business systems.

Key elements of our vision include:

MINT Vision

Conceptual Framework

MINT is structured around a four-layer architecture that separates concerns while providing maximum flexibility:

  1. Presentation Layer: The user interface components that deliver multimedia content and interactive features.
  2. Business Logic Layer: The core functionality that drives the application, including configuration rules and pricing calculations.
  3. Data Access Layer: The mechanisms for storing, retrieving, and synchronizing information across systems.
  4. Infrastructure Layer: The foundational technologies that enable integration with existing systems and networks.

This layered approach allows MINT to adapt to changing business requirements and technological capabilities, ensuring that the framework remains relevant and valuable over time.

Digital Archaeology Note: This is a modern restoration of a 1997 web application. The original used Flash animations, auto-playing WAV files, frames, and obsolete web technologies. These have been replaced with HTML5 equivalents while preserving the original look and navigation structure. Background images are now more visible, and redundant copyright footers have been removed.
