The MINT framework employs a component-based architecture that separates concerns into distinct functional areas. This approach provides flexibility in deployment, maintenance, and customization.

Core Components

The MINT framework consists of several core components that work together to provide the complete functionality:

  • Presentation Engine: Handles the user interface and multimedia presentation, including vehicle visualization, interactive catalogs, and guided selling tools.
  • Business Logic Engine: Implements the business rules and processes, including configuration validation, pricing calculations, and workflow management.
  • Data Management: Manages the storage, retrieval, and synchronization of data, including vehicle specifications, customer information, and order status.
  • Integration Services: Provides interfaces to external systems, including dealer management systems, ACME production systems, and other enterprise applications.
  • Infrastructure Services: Delivers foundational capabilities such as security, logging, configuration, and offline operation.

This section is in development as part of the digital archaeology restoration project.

The complete content for Technical Overview will be added in a future update.

These components are organized into the MINT layers that provide a structured approach to the overall architecture. The framework supports multiple deployment versions to address different operational requirements.

Digital Archaeology Note: This is a modern restoration of a 1997 web application. The original used Flash animations, auto-playing WAV files, frames, and obsolete web technologies. These have been replaced with HTML5 equivalents while preserving the original look and navigation structure. Background images are now more visible, and redundant copyright footers have been removed.
